Going to halikidiki in greece in middle of june 08, never been there so has anyone got any experience they wish 2 share good or bad.....?.......what weather was like in june?.....cheap/expensive?....excursions鈥?br>

You do not specify where in Chalkidiki you are going and since there are 3 peninsulas, that could be a minor problem because all are beautiful places. I suggest that you do the the daily boat trip along the Agion Oros monasteries and their grounds. The place is off limits for women and the boat approaches to the closest allowed distance. Still is a memorable trip and the appearance of dolphins is a regular happening according to the seamen of the boats. I wouldn't miss it.Hey guys need some advice about a holiday!?
the weather is hot. its expensice there so bring a lot of money. 1 euro is worth like $1.25. that may not seem like much, however, it addsup. amazing experience there! the plane ride there though is aso long though =[ at least 7 hours i think but i dont really remember because we switched planes. (we stopped in london first and then went to greece from there) anyways, you'll have lots of fun! take lots of pictures!
It is absolutely beautiful...very good choice...prices are not so bad...The weather is gorgeous, and by the way, generally the people from there are very nice...
