having the privilege of carrying an impressive academic records u can apply for internships or other kinds of work experiences. On the other hand you can apply for mid-year entry, depending on the university and the course they might or might not have mid-year entry, but most of the popular courses such as Sciences, Maths/Computers, Arts (including English Lit) do have this. Generally at Freshman year the popular units are run both semesters. Also, there are some courses available online (either free of charge, or with minium charge). I think that you won't have a problem to find an online-university that offer online English Lit courses. Renowned universities like MIT and Standford in the US or Oxford %26amp; Cambridge in the UK have online-courses also, free of charge, if you're interested.

Hope you will succeed in your choice of career. It's a good thing that you realize what you want to do and dont want to do now, many students dont until halfway through the course and cry themselves a river.Guys i need advice please help me!!!?
You don't have to lay around for a year. You could go to a community college and take some basic classes. It would be cheaper and save you time in the long-run. Community college is less of a commitment than a four-year school and it could ease your workload when you do transfer to a four-year college or something similar. Just get some basic classes out of the way like math or composition. Meet with an adviser to make sure you take classes that can transfer to another school.
I don't think you should take a year out all of your friends would be passed and you would still be at university and they would have careers and you wont! I personally I think it is a wrong idea to skip a year! Go to law school! Don't waste your talents!
theres nothing wrong with law maybee you should just enroll next time in your home town just follow your heart every thing will work out
