Is something good to do...advice from guys and girls would be great?

Okay, me and a gorgeous friend of mine once went to a concert 2gether for a music apprec. college assignment. Well, she was looking at the program that night and mentioned she'd have fun at an upcoming xmas concert (which is this sun.). I asked if she'd like to go and she said she would but has to help with a xmas party. She didnt know if the party was sat or sun. If it's sat, then i'm gold, but if it's sunday then I'm screwed. So here's where the real question comes into play.





Should I have a backup plan and ask her if she'd like to do something on saturday (movie or bowling maybe) if she cant go to the xmas concert on sunday? Should I ask her if she says she cant go sunday and do you have any other second first date ideas?

ok from the sound of it it looks like you are just friends with this girl and look for this concert as a way to hang out with her, now unless she agrees on it as being a date then it isnt a date its just 2 friends hanging out listening to music but if she ends up with the party being on sunday then tell her that you would really miss not being able to hang out with her and that you should do it again sometime or whatever something like that. but if you are wanting it to be a date then make sure that she knows that and is ok with that otherwise she might feel uncomfortable if you make a move and it could ruin your chances.

Absolutely have a back up plan. Movies are good, but even better at one of your houses where you can cozy up next to a warm fire with some popcorn or take out. If there is a lake near by or somewhere with a good view, drive out there and just sit in the car and talk, it's a great bonding experience. Look at stars or just listen to some good tunes. Ask her things to get to know her better, it will pay off if you are looking to date this girl. Just be yourself and act natural. Maybe ask her what she likes to do in her free time and plan something around that. Being original in your date choices will leave a lasting impression.
